Mindful Connections

I read an interesting article in regards to Lessons to Remember when the lockdown ends. One of those lessons was being with others is key to happiness.

Today I would like to share my thoughts on this key learning with poem from my Mindfulness Collection of Poems that speaks to mindful connections and feeling stronger together…

Mindful Connections

You can discover connections everywhere by paying attention

What stops you from giving, caring and being heard?

Interactions with others are so challenging, why bother?

Opening your heart and sharing your vulnerabilities is too risky!

Connections are the root of liveliness, so jump in.

We all have our stories, our joys, sorrows and fears,

Taking the time to speak your truth, and not staying in isolation,

Tell me…how have your habitual ways of interacting with others and swelling egos, served you so far?

These patterns often lead to disconnection, solitude and disengagement with your precious life and others.

Mindful connections are the bridge of hope…

Having meaningful interactions has the potential to create harmony and happiness in your life.

Hearing the messages within your Self and others by practicing silence, patience and compassionate listening.

Loving, mindful connections are worth it!

Whether you are interacting with a friend or a colleague, I encourage you to communicate with awareness to what is being said and heard at a deeper level. One day at a time, I invite you to pause and to connect with yourself and others.

Mindful Check-In

What more do I need to do to genuinely connect and trust others in my life?
