doTERRA oils

In June 2019 I was reflecting on how to grow my business and what other products or services would enhance my offerings of Yoga and Mindfulness. I was introduced to the doTERRA company and I have been in business with this company for over a year now. I am a Wellness Advocate experiencing and selling all of the products of this global, integrative wellness company.

I am a strong believer in self-care with alternative approaches to address individualized wellness. doTERRA offers many products to limit the toxic chemicals that are contained in store products. I researched what ingredients were found in my previous products and I was horrified! Hence, embracing the need to change what is in my home, on my body and what I use on a daily basis I switched to doTERRA products and oils.

Throughout my life I have always volunteered and I admired doTERRA’s business model. They have developed a Healing Hands Foundation that offers resources and tools to global sourcing communities and charitable organizations for self-reliance, healthcare, education, sanitation, and the fight against human trafficking. Because my son volunteered in Guatemala, all of these causes are dear to my heart. I had an opportunity to see with my own eyes the poverty and richness of these human beings. They demonstrate an attitude of love, forgiveness and live with the minimal necessities of life. They are happy and grateful at what life offers them.

What are essential oils?

Be careful what you buy! Is it certified and tested by an independent company? Most oils contain a lot of synthetics, artificial ingredients and are not pure. doTERRA oils are found in the seeds, barks, stems, roots, flowers and other parts of the plants. People use these oils and products for a more holistic approach to self care.

doTERRA CPTG Certified Pure Tested Grade essential oils are pure, aromatic compounds carefully extracted from plants. They are skillfully extracted by experienced distillers and subjected to chemical analysis to ensure purity and composition. The company is guided by a Scientific Advisory Board and uses only top development partners to derive the best quality.

What are some uses of essential oils?

Essential oils are used internally and topically in three ways: diffused aromatically, applied topically to the skin, or taken internally as a flavoring to add to foods and drinks. Here is how I use them every single day: I have my diffuser on most of the day with a blend of 2-3 oils in it. I always have a topical oil on my body either behind my ears, inside my wrists or at the back of my neck. I also use them in my Yoga and Mindfulness classes for relaxation and concentration. I love to add lemon or lime oil to my water. I enjoy placing Serenity oil on my feet before going to bed.
