One day Mindfulness Retreats
Welcome to a mindful and restorative full day retreat prepared just for you!
The setting at Light of the Prairies centre is an ideal, calm location to re-energize and enjoy the beauty of this inspring, peaceful environment.
The Mindfulness retreat will include the following Mindfulness practices:
Mindful eating and walking
Sitting Meditation and Body Scan
Mindful Body Movements (light yoga)
Discussion and Exploration on coping with stress in our lives
Presentation with Jodi Lee, Registered Holistic Nutritionist; Jodi Lee,who will share insights on nutrition and ideas to improve your digestive system and other areas of your health and wellbeing.
The retreat will incorporate Mindfulness practices from the 8 week program Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) developed by Dr. Jon Kabat Zinn, practitioner and author who developed the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre. The retreat is intended to be a purposeful, reflective pause, to restore and rejuvenate! My hope is that you will join me and take the time to nourish and be with yourself!

Location: Light of the Prairies Centre, 22115 Oakgrove Road, 13 acre property in the heart of the prairies, 15 minutes south-east of Winnipeg, off Lagimodiere Blvd. Highway #59. (5.6 km. to centre on Oakgrove Rd.)
